In recent days, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center has carried out a number of recovery operations involving the bodies of irregular migrants from the beaches of Zuwara and surrounding areas, as part of its humanitarian field efforts to handle such incidents with responsibility and professionalism.
A total of 17 bodies were recovered. Regarding burial procedures, 14 bodies have been laid to rest in accordance with established protocols, ensuring the dignity of the deceased.
These efforts fall within the Center’s broader humanitarian role, reflected in its rapid response and responsible field interventions in such situations, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to fulfilling its duties under all circumstances
