As part of a rapid humanitarian response, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Al-Marj Office initiated home-based healthcare for a child who suffered a dog bite, after he was unable to access the necessary treatment at healthcare facilities and his family could not travel to areas where care was available.
A fully equipped medical team was immediately assigned to deliver treatment at home. Care included wound management, monitoring for signs of infection, and the regular administration of intravenous fluids, provided خلال morning and evening visits to ensure continuity of care and close follow-up.
With successful completion of the treatment plan, the medical team demonstrated the center’s humanitarian mission and its commitment to delivering medical services to those in need, regardless of circumstances.
