Emergency Childbirth Training Program Held at Zamzam Hospital

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen training programs and enhance the capabilities of healthcare professionals, Zamzam Rural Hospital, affiliated with the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, hosted a specialized training program titled “Emergency Childbirth.” The program was organized in collaboration with the National Committee of the National Midwifery Program and the Libyan Midwives Association for Maternal and Child Care.

The three-day intensive training targeted a number of the hospital’s allied healthcare personnel, aiming to qualify them as midwives while enhancing their knowledge and practical skills in managing childbirth and obstetric emergencies. Combining both theoretical instruction and hands-on clinical training, the program sought to improve the quality of maternal and newborn care provided at the hospital.
