On the second day of training in Washington: An introductory presentation about the Emergency Medicine Center and a lecture by Dr. Monica Sanders on strategic leadership and the legal framework in crises

For the second consecutive day, members of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center continue their participation in the training course held in the U.S. capital, Washington, at Georgetown University. Today featured a comprehensive introductory presentation about the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, its objectives, operational mechanisms, and key achievements. This was followed by an open discussion in a workshop dedicated to reviewing the role of non-profit organizations during crises, improving their performance, communication mechanisms with EMSC, and exchanging experiences on building more effective partnerships during disasters.

Dr. Monica Sanders, Professor of Law at Georgetown University and specialist in disaster law and environmental emergency economics, delivered a specialized lecture covering the principles of ethical strategic leadership and the legal framework governing relief operations during crises, drawing on her experience working with the American Red Cross and the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
