Emergency Medicine and Support Center Launches On-Site Medical Services at the 2025 Osso International Festival in Zuwara

As part of its commitment to providing medical coverage during public events and ensuring readiness and rapid response, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center has commenced its field medical services at the 2025 Osso International Festival, which officially kicked off yesterday evening, Wednesday, on the beaches of Zuwara amid a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

EMSC’s medical teams began operations from the early hours of the event’s opening day. Ten field medical consultations were conducted, and one case was referred to Zuwara General Hospital for continued care—all within an integrated system that ensures swift referral and immediate emergency handling.

These efforts align with the Center’s approved operational plan for covering major national events. A fully equipped field medical point has been deployed, staffed with specialized personnel and modern emergency equipment, reinforcing EMSC’s role as a key component in the national emergency response system.

EMSC will continue to provide medical support throughout the festival’s three-day duration, with ongoing field assessments to ensure optimal healthcare services for participants and visitors alike.
