The Kufra Office of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center took part in the training program on “Preparedness and Response to Acute Watery Diarrhea Outbreaks”.
The training was organized in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the National Center for Disease Control, and the Kufra Health Emergency Room.
The program, which concluded last Friday, lasted for five consecutive days and included theoretical sessions, practical exercises, and workshops aimed at enhancing rapid response capacity, strengthening coordination among relevant entities, and promoting community awareness.
It is worth noting that this training was a precautionary measure and part of future preparedness efforts, as no cases of this disease have been reported in Kufra to date.
