Misrata Office Completes the EMT-1 Camp

The Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Misrata Office concluded the EMT-1 training camp on Tuesday, completing the final day of theoretical sessions in accordance with WHO standards and the “EMT Blue Book.” The program aims to qualify national teams capable of effectively responding to disasters and emergencies.

The closing sessions covered:
• Fundamentals of Disaster Medicine and Crisis Management.
• Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Management.
• Standards for establishing field hospitals and task allocation.
• Patient flow and movement engineering within field hospitals.
• Management of resources and operations (WASH – LOG – HEALTH).

These sessions reinforce theoretical foundations and connect them with field operations, paving the way for the upcoming practical phase.
