Urgent Response to a Farm Fire in Kufra City

On the evening of Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Kufra Office received an urgent call reporting a fire in a farm within its jurisdiction. An ambulance was immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, two burn cases were identified:

  • Female (60 years old): Burns to the elbow, hand, leg, and head.
  • Male (50 years old): Burns to the neck area.

Actions taken:

  • Immediate first aid was provided on-site, and both patients were transferred to the office clinic.
  • One case was urgently referred to the teaching hospital for further treatment and care.

This response reflects the readiness and efficiency of our teams in handling emergencies of all kinds and their commitment to serving everyone equally, including displaced and vulnerable individuals — because saving lives is a duty that knows no time or place.
