In a joint humanitarian effort, the team from the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Kufra Office, in coordination with the Libyan Relief Authority, Kufra Security Directorate, and the Department for Combating Illegal Migration, began distributing humanitarian aid to displaced families from Sudan. The initiative also included the provision of healthcare and relief services to help ease the suffering of affected families and support their stability.
In parallel, the office deployed a fully equipped medical convoy consisting of doctors and nurses. During the visit, 60 cases were examined in the internal medicine and pediatrics departments, with field coverage supported by two fully equipped ambulances for rapid response.
During field operations, the teams handled an emergency case, transferring a patient from the Department for Combating Illegal Migration to Martyr Atiya Al-Kasah Teaching Hospital for necessary tests, imaging, and medical care, before safely returning the patient after his condition stabilized.
The Kufra Office continues to perform its humanitarian and national duty with dedication—delivering healthcare and relief services to all those in need, reaffirming the Center’s mission of serving humanity wherever it is needed.
