As part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about migration issues and their impact on society, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center participated in a scientific seminar titled “Irregular Migration: Impacts and Reflections on Civil Society.”
The event brought together academic and scientific experts, as well as representatives from civil society organizations.
During the sessions, a representative of the Center delivered a presentation highlighting the realities of migration, its routes and crossing points, and the social, economic, and security repercussions on Libyan society.
The presentation emphasized the importance of institutional coordination and role integration to mitigate risks and protect the most vulnerable groups.
The Center reaffirms its commitment to supporting scientific and community-driven efforts aimed at understanding the phenomenon, reducing its risks, and building effective partnerships that strengthen prevention and response based on scientific and humanitarian principles.
