Emergency Medicine and Support Center Continues Second Phase of Aid Distribution in Kufra to Support Displaced Sudanese Families

As part of joint humanitarian response efforts, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Kufra Office continued on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the second phase of aid distribution this week, in collaboration with the Libyan Relief Authority, Kufra Security Directorate, and the Department for Combating Illegal Migration. The initiative aims to support the stability of displaced families from Sudan and alleviate their suffering under difficult conditions.

In this context, a fully equipped medical convoy was deployed, including specialized medical and nursing teams, which examined 99 patients in internal medicine and basic health screenings such as blood pressure and glucose testing. Free medicines and treatments were provided to all beneficiaries, while two fully equipped ambulances were stationed to ensure field medical coverage and rapid response to emergencies.

These efforts have helped ease the burden on displaced families by providing direct and accessible healthcare services, reinforcing the values of solidarity and humanitarian commitment embodied by the field teams in southeastern Libya. The Kufra Office reaffirms its ongoing dedication to delivering medical and relief services to all those in need, without discrimination.
