As part of ongoing field monitoring efforts to ensure the highest levels of preparedness, a team from the Emergency Medicine and Support Center conducted an inspection tour of several valleys, flood pathways, and dams. The visit was carried out in coordination with the Dams Administration of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Agricultural Police Authority, members of the Municipal Council of Souq Al-Khamis Imsehel, members of the Municipal Council of Qasr Bin Ghashir, and the Municipal Guard Authority.
The tour included on-site assessment of the condition of dams and flood channels in the following locations:
• Wadi Al-Majanin Dam
• Wadi Al-Jawazat – Al-Sayeh
• Wadi Al-Shahobeen
• Wadi Al-Zaghadna
• Wadi Al-Barghoutiya
• Abu Aleen Culvert
• Wadi Al-Hammam Culvert
• Wadi Al-Khrou’ – Eastern Branch
• Wadi Al-Khrou’ – Western Branch
During the inspection, the team evaluated the readiness of the water structures, identified critical points, and assessed the necessary requirements to ensure proper water flow in the event of heavy rainfall—contributing to the protection of residents and property, and strengthening disaster-management planning.
This visit comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to enhance early preparedness and maintain direct, on-ground assessment of areas prone to flood risks
