As part of the ongoing training programs conducted by the Zuwara Office of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, a practical workshop on Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) was held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The workshop brought together medical staff from the Zuwara Office, Zuwara General Maritime Hospital, the Zuwara Health Services Administration, and the Nursing Institute.
The training covered key practical topics including adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), termination criteria, recovery positioning, and endotracheal intubation, under the supervision of Dr. Abuajila Al-Lafi, Emergency Medicine Specialist, and Dr. Abdelkader Ksheem, Intensive Care Specialist.
At the end of the session, participants were awarded certificates of attendance accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
