Bani Walid Northern Hospital Continues Delivering Comprehensive Medical Services with High Activity in July

As part of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center’s commitment to ensuring the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services, Bani Walid Northern Hospital continues to fulfill its mission of serving patients and providing specialized medical care. July witnessed intensive activity across its various medical departments, including the following:

Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Laparoscopic Surgery Department

  • Admitted 73 cases.
  • Performed 6 major surgeries, including hysterectomy, oophorectomy, removal of hydatid cysts, and uterine polyp excision.
  • Conducted 22 diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopic procedures.
  • Carried out 45 cesarean sections.
  • Performed 18 diagnostic HSG examinations.
  • Received 459 cases in the outpatient clinics.

Neonatal Department

  • Admitted 29 cases from various cities.
  • Recorded 16 births within the hospital and received 13 transferred cases from outside.
  • Provided care for 11 cases on ventilators, 7 premature infants, 14 cases of jaundice, 4 cases of septicemia, and 3 cases of pneumonia.

General Surgery Department

  • Performed 20 laparoscopic cholecystectomies.
  • Conducted 45 circumcisions.
  • Carried out 5 laparoscopic appendectomies.
  • Removed 3 thoracic cysts.
