The Emergency Medicine and Support Center concluded its participation in securing the Qarah Afia Traditional Equestrian Festival, following several days of continuous field operations aimed at ensuring the safety of riders and attendees, while providing comprehensive medical and humanitarian support throughout the event.
During the festival, the Center’s field hospital recorded the following:
• 29 blood donations as part of the on-site blood donation campaign.
• 80 field medical interventions successfully managed on-site.
• 9 cases transferred to hospitals for further medical care.
These efforts underscore the Center’s ongoing commitment to community service and its support for national events that celebrate Libya’s cultural heritage and the spirit of traditional horsemanship, reflecting its humanitarian and professional role across the country.
