As part of its continuous efforts to enhance emergency healthcare services in Libya and expand cooperation with regional and international centers, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, represented by its General Manager and Advisor, participated in the regional meeting hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco. The event was organized by the World Health Organization (WHO/EMRO) and the Africa CDC, with the participation of more than fifty countries from Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf region.
This participation reflects the Center’s commitment to exchanging expertise and learning from successful international experiences in health crisis management, while strengthening national preparedness in line with the highest standards.
During the meeting, the General Manager stressed Libya’s keenness to build bridges of effective cooperation with neighboring and regional countries, enhancing collective capacity to confront health emergencies and crises, and ensuring a rapid and coordinated response that safeguards lives and supports both national and regional health security.
