The Emergency Medicine and Support Center participated as part of the Ministry of Health delegation in the 79th World Health Assembly, held in Geneva from May 18 to 23, 2026. During the event, the center’s representative, Dr. Taha Humaidan, delivered a presentation highlighting the center’s efforts in strengthening preparedness and response to emergencies, crises, and humanitarian disasters. This participation reflects the center’s commitment to exchanging international expertise and supporting Libya’s capabilities in the fields of emergency healthcare and humanitarian relief.
