The Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Al-Khums Office – participated in the “Libya Nights” Festival, held in the city of Al-Khums, which drew a large public turnout and widespread participation from across Libya, including cities such as Ghat, Sabha, and Jufra.
The festival featured a wide range of cultural and recreational activities, including traditional equestrian shows, artisan bazaars showcasing handmade crafts and local products, as well as performances by artistic groups and creative talents from southern, central, and other regions of Libya.
As part of its humanitarian mission, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center set up a fully equipped field medical station to provide immediate emergency care. The medical team treated dozens of individuals on-site and transferred more than 10 cases to the hospital for further medical attention.
The station also received high-level official visits, including the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Force, the Minister of Tourism, the Deputy Minister of Culture, the Deputy Minister of Economy, and the Mayor of Al-Khums. All praised EMSC’s vital role in ensuring the safety and success of the event.
This proactive involvement reflects EMSC’s ongoing commitment to serving the public and its continued presence at national events to provide critical medical support and rapid emergency response.
