s part of its ongoing support for community initiatives and its commitment to strengthening the field healthcare system, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center responded to a request from the Libyan Youth Hostels Association to provide medical coverage for the 2025 Summer Camps Program, taking place from July 27 to September 15 in the Abu Kammash area, with the participation of over 200 young men and women from various Libyan cities.
To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all participants, EMSC established and equipped a fully functional medical clinic in Abu Kammash, located in western Libya. The clinic includes:
- Two medical beds
- A vital signs monitoring device
- Two blood pressure monitors
- Two blood glucose meters
- A medical suction device
- A range of essential medical supplies for urgent care interventions
In addition, two fully equipped ambulances were deployed, along with a qualified medical team to operate the clinic and provide 24/7 healthcare services.
This initiative aligns with EMSC’s strategic plan to enhance field medical readiness across different regions, especially in areas hosting national and youth-focused activities.
The Emergency Medicine and Support Center reaffirms its ongoing commitment to supporting national initiatives that contribute to the safety, stability, and well-being of the community—ensuring the highest standards of medical care under all circumstances.
