On October 31, 2025, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center (EMSC) signed a cooperation agreement with the Czech Life Support Institute, a leading organization specialized in medical training.
The agreement is part of the Center’s strategic plan to strengthen the readiness of emergency response teams and build staff capacities in line with the highest international standards.
This partnership reflects EMSC’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and engaging global expertise to transfer knowledge and develop high-quality training programs that enhance field performance and ensure the sustainability of services.
The agreement includes a comprehensive package of advanced programs in life support, multi-hazard disaster management, pre-hospital medicine, emergency medical communications and dispatch, as well as psychological first aid and mental health support for frontline teams.
It also features certified programs from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), such as TECC, AHDR, and TCCC.
The agreement was signed by the Director of International Cooperation at EMSC and the General Manager of the Life Support Institute, in the presence of the Libyan Chargé d’Affaires, a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a member of the Czech Senate.
The Center affirmed that this collaboration will contribute to developing the skills of national personnel through specialized practical training tailored to the Libyan context—ultimately improving the quality and efficiency of emergency medical services across the country.
