On Tuesday, an expanded meeting was held at the Tropical Medicine Center in Kufra, bringing together:
- The Head of the Joint Security Room in the Southeast,
- The Mayor of Kufra Municipality,
- The Head of the Health Emergency Room at the Ministry of Health,
- Managers of hospitals and health centers,
- The Manager of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Kufra Office.
The meeting focused on the recent rise in cholera cases in neighboring Sudan and resulted in the adoption of a proactive plan to address the potential spread of the disease into Libya, with an emphasis on raising preparedness and ensuring readiness to respond to any related emergency.
