As part of an official visit reflecting the commitment of health leadership to field follow-up and readiness assessment, the General Manager of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, accompanied by the Syrian Minister of Health, conducted an on-site tour that included the Transportation and Vehicles Department.
During the visit, the delegation reviewed the department’s operational system, the readiness of ambulances and vehicles, and the organizational and operational mechanisms in place to ensure continuous logistical support and rapid response to various field missions. Comprehensive briefings were provided on the nature of operations and the department’s vital role within the emergency response system.
The visit also included the International Center for Microsurgeries, where the delegation reviewed the ongoing preparation phases, which are progressing according to an integrated vision aimed at establishing an advanced specialized center equipped with the latest medical technologies and equipment.
This visit comes within the broader context of monitoring development projects, enhancing healthcare services, and assessing the readiness of medical infrastructure—contributing to improved quality of care, expanded specialized services, and strengthened exchange of expertise at both local and international levels.
