As part of efforts to improve access to healthcare and pharmaceutical services, the Pharmacy Department of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Al-Shati Office carried out a field visit to Gagum General Hospital, with the participation of several hospital physicians.
During the visit, 64 patients were examined in the specialties of general medicine, surgery, and pediatrics, following the approved triage and evaluation protocols.
The physicians from Gagum General Hospital were responsible for diagnosis and treatment planning, while the Al-Shati Office team supervised and organized the dispensing of medications, ensuring they reached eligible patients appropriately, and provided pharmaceutical guidance on dosage and usage to ensure patient safety.
