Under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, and with the participation of several supporting entities, the First Libyan Conference on Hernia Surgery was inaugurated. The event brought together a distinguished group of physicians, consultants, and specialists, along with representatives from various health and academic institutions.
The conference featured notable scientific contributions from Italian consultants collaborating with the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, who delivered specialized lectures and shared the latest expertise and advancements in hernia surgery. This exchange of knowledge supports the development of professional competencies and strengthens collaboration among medical professionals.
This scientific event comes as part of broader efforts to advance the healthcare sector, keep pace with medical developments, and expand opportunities for collaboration among relevant stakeholders, ultimately enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens.
Additionally, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Misrata Office ensured medical coverage for the conference by establishing a fully equipped first aid station at the venue, staffed with a medical team and an ambulance to guarantee readiness and immediate response to any emergencies.
