Medical Readiness in Tripoli Ahead of the 2026 Africa–Turkey Summit

As part of the ongoing preparations for Tripoli to host the 2026 Africa–Turkey Summit, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center at the Naqliya headquarters welcomed an evaluation delegation from the African Union Commission. The visit aimed to assess the center’s level of readiness and its available capabilities.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed the center’s medical equipment and logistical capacities, which have been mobilized to ensure comprehensive medical coverage in line with the scale and importance of the event. These efforts help strengthen response efficiency and ensure the safety of participants.

Through this visit, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center reaffirmed its role as a key contributor to supporting and securing major events, renewing its commitment to providing emergency and field services in accordance with high professional standards, and reflecting Libya’s readiness to host international events efficiently
