The Emergency Medicine and Support Center continues its technical and training activities in collaboration with the World Health Organization, as part of the ongoing development of the Libyan team for international response and the accreditation process of the Emergency Medical Team (EMT).
In recent days, an extensive meeting was held, bringing together the General Manager of the Center, the Field Medicine Department, and the heads of the Tripoli and Misrata offices, along with Dr. Hanna, the supervisor of the Libyan EMT initiative under the World Health Organization. The meeting emphasized unifying the operational structure and enhancing readiness across all units of the Center.
In parallel, the first day of the intensive training program for the medical team at the Misrata office has commenced, with successive training sessions scheduled in the remaining offices.
