The second day of the intensive first aid training program continued with sessions on vital signs and measurement techniques, with active participation from students and healthcare practitioners.
The program included practical workshops and hands-on sessions designed to strengthen rapid response capabilities and accuracy in handling emergency cases.
Key training topics included:
- Managing severe bleeding and critical injuries
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Basic techniques for fracture stabilization and safe patient transport
This activity is part of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center Misrata Office’s plan, in collaboration with the Student Union of the Faculty of Medicine at Misrata University, to instill a culture of preparedness and readiness among future medical professionals.
