Working Visit to Pilsen University Hospital to Activate Libyan–Czech Cooperation

Following the cooperation agreement signed on October 31, 2025, between the Emergency Medicine and Support Center (EMSC) and Life Support Czech Foundation, and within the framework of strengthening Libyan–Czech collaboration, the Director of the International Cooperation Department conducted a working visit to Pilsen University Hospital to follow up on the implementation of the agreement’s provisions.

Key pillars of the visit included:
• Aligning training programs — Life Support, Disaster Management, Prehospital Medicine, Emergency Medical Communications, and NAEMT-certified courses (TECC, TCCC, AHDR) — with the practical needs of the Libyan healthcare environment.
• Agreeing on implementation mechanisms such as course schedules, participant groups, joint simulation sessions, and clinical observation programs.
• Updating standard operating procedures and coordinating referral pathways for complex cases, supported by measurable performance and impact indicators.

The outcomes will be pursued through a joint implementation plan and defined timeline, marking a first step in a continuous path of development aimed at improving response efficiency and quality of care across Libya.
