As part of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center’s commitment to supporting training and professional development initiatives and strengthening the capacity of healthcare personnel, a three-day training program titled “Emergency Childbirth” was conducted at Tamzawa Specialized Hospital for Women and Maternity in collaboration with the National Committee of the National Midwifery Program and the Libyan Midwives Association for Maternal and Child Care.
The program targeted a number of the hospital’s allied healthcare professionals, combining theoretical instruction with hands-on practical training in the management of childbirth and related obstetric emergencies. The initiative aims to prepare participants for midwifery roles while enhancing the quality of maternal and newborn healthcare services.
