The Emergency Medicine and Support Center participated in the 42nd International Conference on Advances in Psychiatry and Mental Health, held in Dubai from November 10–11, 2025. The Center was represented by the Manager of the Mental and Social Health Department and a team of specialists in psychiatry and social support, in addition to members with legal expertise, in line with the conference’s objective of bringing together experts in mental health and law to explore prospects for integration between the two fields.
The participation was not merely protocol-based; the Center’s delegation demonstrated notable engagement and positive interaction throughout the sessions and workshops. As a result, the team obtained an internationally accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) certification, as well as an official authorization to present the Center’s activities and programs in upcoming conferences, reaffirming the Center’s distinguished expertise and field experience in psychological and social support.
This participation aligns with the Center’s strategy to enhance the capacities of its medical and technical teams, stay informed about the latest innovations in diagnosis, treatment, and care, and build collaborative bridges with academic and medical institutions. The outcomes of the conference will be reflected in service delivery within Libya through training plans and operational procedures that elevate the quality and integration of healthcare services—from admission to follow-up and rehabilitation— in line with the directives of the General Manager to advance scientific and professional development and strengthen international cooperation for the benefit of patients and society.
