Shahat Office Launches a Tree-Planting Campaign in the Green Mountain to Enhance Vegetation and Protect the Environment

Believing that protecting life begins with protecting the environment, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center – Shahat Office launched a field tree-planting campaign in the Al-Hamri area of the Green Mountain, about 40 km from Shahat city. The initiative brought together the Scouts and Guides Commission – Shahat Branch, the Libyan Red Crescent, the Pine Association, the Agricultural Police Department, and several other service entities.

With a spirit of responsibility and solidarity, teams were deployed across designated sites and planted more than 1,000 seedlings to strengthen vegetation cover, combat erosion, and reinforce the message: our environment is part of our health and daily safety.

This initiative is not a one-time event but a step in a sustainable journey we believe in — to make our mountains greener, our air cleaner, and our cities more livable. We extend our thanks to everyone who participated, contributed, and supported, and we pledge to continue working with our partners for a healthier and more beautiful homeland.
