As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen professional development and enhance the capabilities of Libya’s healthcare workforce, 25 Libyan physicians participated in an advanced training program on modern medical technologies held in Changsha, Hunan Province, People’s Republic of China, from 3 to 23 July.
Among the participants was Dr. Sami Rashid Abu Shaqour of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, who serves as Head of the Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Intensive and Mobile Care Department within the Field Medicine Directorate. His participation reflects the Center’s commitment to advancing the expertise of its medical personnel and benefiting from international knowledge and best practices.
The program provided participants with exposure to the latest medical technologies and hospital equipment used in Chinese healthcare facilities, along with hands-on training on advanced medical devices. It also created valuable opportunities for professional exchange and collaboration with healthcare specialists and experts from Hunan Province.
The Emergency Medicine and Support Center extends its sincere appreciation to all organizations and individuals involved in organizing this successful training program and contributing to its objectives.
